About Pepsider
Nine people. Three countries. Zero sponsors.
Pepsider is an independent guide to peptide shops, peptide apps, and the research behind them. We've been testing peptides since 2017.
Who runs Pepsider
Nine biohackers and researchers based in the United States, Germany, and Switzerland. We met over the years through forums, lab work, endurance sports, and longevity meetups. None of us is a doctor. A few have published peer-reviewed work in adjacent fields. The rest are people who got curious about peptides, kept reading, and didn't stop.
We've been actively testing peptides and other novel compounds since 2017 - back when BPC-157 got blank stares at most pharmacies, not a TikTok.
Why Pepsider exists
When the peptide boom hit, the ratio of marketing copy to honest information went sideways. Influencers pivoted overnight. Vendors appeared from nowhere. The same five names got recommended in every YouTube video, none disclosing the affiliate links underneath. We watched friends order from relabelers. We watched newcomers follow protocols pulled from a Reddit comment with no citation behind it.
The site started as a shared doc one of us was passing around to friends. It got long enough that putting it on the public internet started to make more sense than maintaining a Notion page nobody could find. So here we are.
What's on the site
Here's what we publish, all held to the same methodology:
Best European peptide shop rankings. We order anonymously with our own money, check third-party Certificates of Analysis, track shipping and customer service for deliveries into Europe, and re-evaluate every quarter.
Best US peptide shop rankings. The same process for domestic US buyers: anonymous orders, CoA verification, shipping and support grading, and quarterly re-scores.
Best peptide app reviews. Sorted by which ones are actually useful tools and which are affiliate funnels in a tool costume.
How Pepsider is funded
By the nine of us, out of our own pockets. No advertising, no affiliate links, no sponsored placements, no vendor relationships of any kind. The site runs on a small server. The work happens on weekends. Every word is written by someone who isn't getting paid for it.
This means progress is slow. We'd rather publish a short list we stand behind than a long one we don't.
What we won't do
We don't rank shops we haven't ordered from. We don't review compounds we haven't researched. We don't take posts down because vendors ask. We don't run paid placements, in any form. We don't ghostwrite for shops. We don't pretend to be doctors, lawyers, or pharmacists.
If a shop, app, or compound isn't on Pepsider yet, it's because we haven't gotten to it - not because they paid to stay off, and not because they paid to be on.
A note on what this is and isn't
Peptides are complex and the evidence varies wildly between compounds. Some are well-studied. Many are not. Legal status varies by country. Medical status varies by everything.
Nothing on Pepsider is medical advice. We're researchers sharing what we've learned - not a replacement for a doctor who knows your specific situation. When the research is thin, we say so. When something is more hype than evidence, we say that too.
